## Proposition
Ancient myths are placed into augmented reality, where gods, astronauts, biology, and cosmology begin to share one speculative world.

## Description
Unproven Fallacy draws from the Classic of Mountains and Seas and reimagines myth through contemporary scientific and technological imagination. Nuwa becomes an ancient astronaut. The act of patching the sky becomes a story of interstellar gates and cosmic protection.

The work uses augmented reality to overlay imagined worlds onto contemporary space. Myth does not remain in the past. It becomes a system for producing new reality.

Across the project, ancient narrative, synthetic biology, AI-driven characters, nonlinear time, and spatial computing form a layered field of speculation.

## Viewer Entry
The viewer encounters myth in the present tense. Through AR, sculptural or spatial elements become carriers of another world. Familiar space receives gods, portals, cosmic routes, and impossible histories.

## Apparatus
The work uses spatial computing-based AR, sculpture, screens, and narrative structures drawn from Chinese mythology. It reinterprets mythic figures through scientific and speculative frames: Nuwa as astronaut, Xihe as a solar-energy figure, mythic time as nonlinear narrative, and synthetic biology as a guide for thinking about life systems and character relations.

## Sections
### Myth Rewritten
The work revisits ancient figures and refuses to treat them as static symbols. They become actors in a new speculative cosmology.

### AR as Overlay
Augmented reality allows the imagined world to sit directly on top of present space. The viewer sees reality as something that can be layered, revised, and extended.

### Science as Mythic Material
Synthetic biology and artificial intelligence enter the narrative as contemporary forms of worldbuilding. They give mythic figures new motives, bodies, and systems of relation.

### Nonlinear Time
The story breaks chronological order. Different perspectives and causalities overlap, allowing myth to operate less as retelling than as a living network.
